SAFELTI Visits Ghana Railway Development Authority to Present Fare Management Solution.
On Monday, November 3rd, the Ghana Railway Development Authority (GRDA) hosted representatives from SAFELTI for an official presentation of their innovative Transport Management Software, FAREMATEX. Developed by a Ghanaian tech expert, FAREMATEX is designed to streamline fare collection, ticketing, and revenue management across all transport sectors — including rail.
The SAFELTI team demonstrated how the system integrates with existing infrastructure to enhance transparency, improve passenger convenience, and provide real-time operational insights. Key features include smart card and QR code ticketing, mobile payment support, and advanced data analytics.
This visit marks a significant step in GRDA’s commitment to modernizing railway operations, especially as we prepare for the launch of the Tema–Mpakadan train service. Management has requested a formal proposal to assess the system’s potential impact and explore next steps.
